IFT FIRST: Annual Meeting and Expo

IFT FIRST (Food Improved by Research, Science and Technology) includes expert
educational sessions, extensive networking opportunities as well as the
largest food innovation expo in North America featuring the latest food
ingredient, equipment, processing, technology, and packaging solutions. Every
year, science of food professionals from all around the world including
ingredient providers, business leaders, product developers, food scientists,
innovators, and academics attend IFT FIRST.

The theme this year is “Innovation in a Time of Crisis: Can We Future-Proof
the Food System?” From supply chain slowdowns and cost-saving imperatives
to increasingly complex research demands, global crises have impeded progress
across the food supply, inspiring the science of food community to unite in

The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) is a global organization of
