About Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

The ISEKI-Food Association has set up the platform Foodcareers, aimed at bringing together graduates and professionals working in the food sector, both in industry and academia.

Currently under development, the site will offer a certification scheme for the recognition of knowledge and skills of professionals working in various fields in the food sector.

It will also provide the guidance and tools for creating and maintaining a continual professional development portfolio, which would be part requirement for maintaining your certification. You will be able to find relevant training courses offered by certified training providers and other CPD activities.

Finally, an online network for continual professional training and career development for Food Scientists and Technologists in Europe will be established, hosted through the ISEKI LinkedIn site, where special interest groups will be created.
